The foundation for this series is a still photo from the 1970 movie “The Secret of Dorian Gray.” Combined with my photo of a building with a pillar, scanned text from paper of the 1700-1800’s and the magic of PhotoShop, a trenchant image emerges —evoking, though not exactly depicting a pillar of salt.
